We used netTrekker for our science/English research paper project. It gave the students a more focused search engine. It wasn’t all over the place like Google would have been. No complaints from the students!

We use Nettrekker right now as the major search engine for students' research papers, grades 9-12. It is an invaluable resource for safe and appropriate information for their work on class projects as well!

We used netTrekker to research animals and landforms for a unit on the world map. It was great! It is so easy to find information at different readibility levels to match all of my students' needs.

Students and teachers spend more time finding than searching when they use netTrekker. The sources returned from a netTrekker search are valid and credible as well as complete. netTrekker provides multiple ways to search so that students and teachers are able to find what they need and much more. The Dictionary and Read Aloud functions make the information accessible to all students.

NetTrekker allows students access to a wide variety of resources that would otherwise be unavailable to them. Oak Mountain Intermediate students enjoy the ease of use and the wealth of information NetTrekker offers. Parents appreciate that students can access it from home. It is a very frequently used resource in the Library Media Center and in the classrooms.

Our schools’ scores have gone up overall with the use of Brainchild; from the 9 weeks school tests to the MCT2 tests.
